Over the past decade,
Kevin Ayers has brought masterful performances to venues across California.

Kevin Ayers resides in San Francisco and is a distinguished faculty member at the California Conservatory of Guitar. Along with maintaining a studio of 40 private students of all ages, Kevin provides musical entertainment that includes recitals, weddings, and corporate events.

As founder of The Commonwealth Guitar Trio, he was invited to perform for the KUSC Sundays Live! series at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and Chapman University. Kevin’s formal music education began at Fullerton College where he earned his associates degree in music. After finishing his studies with honors Kevin became the first classical guitarist from Fullerton College to be accepted into USC’s Thornton School of Music. In addition to completing a B.A. in Classical Guitar Performance Cum Laude at USC, Kevin received the prestigious Classical Guitarist and Classical Guitar Ensemble Awards for 2012.

In 2010 Kevin was a Prize winner in the American String Teachers Association Aron Green Classical Guitar Competition. While completing his Masters at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music in 2016, Kevin was a featured accompanist at the Conservatory’s Classical Kick-off Weekend and involved in the Conservatory’s Guitar Ensemble’s world premier of Nazcan by Chilean composer Javier Farias at the prestigious Biasini International Festival and Competition. Kevin has studied and worked with world-renowned guitarists Shingo Fujii, Scott Tennant, Pepe Romero, Sergio Assad, David Tanenbaum.
